CINI Smash Burger Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • Fresh black pepper (10 cracks)
  • 6 six-inch flour tortillas
  • 6 slices yellow American cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped white onion
  • Dill pickle chips
  • CINI Sauce

Instructions

1. Prep the Beef

  • Mix salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Season all sides of the ground beef evenly.
  • Divide beef into 2.5 oz balls. Handle gently.
  • Place on a plate and refrigerate.

2. Preheat and Smash

  • Preheat a flat top or griddle on high heat (do not grease).
  • Once smoking hot, place each beef ball onto the surface.
  • Immediately top each ball with a tortilla.
  • Press down very firmly with a burger press until flattened.
  • Cook for 1 minute, then press again to release fat.
  • Let cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes.

3. Flip and Finish

  • Use a stiff spatula to scrape and flip each taco (tortilla side down).
  • Cook for another 2 minutes until the tortilla crisps.
  • Add cheese to each and let it melt.

4. Serve

  • Remove from heat.
  • Top with lettuce, onion, and pickles.
  • Drizzle with CINI Sauce.
  • Serve immediately.
